Dear GSN viewers and supporters,
As most of you know our Roku stream has been down the last few weeks due to a coding issue because of a software update that Roku pushed out unexpectedly. We were told by Roku that we had until next year to make coding changes, and then suddenly we started receiving hundreds and hundreds of calls, emails, and social media messages that GSN was down. Roku finally backed off, and we were back up and running for two days.
Immediately following we were hit with another emergency.
On Saturday afternoon we experienced heavy storms here in our area of Tennessee. With these storms came many unforeseen circumstances. We can handle approximately one hour of complete power loss and still continue to broadcast GSN flawlessly. However, this power outage lasted for three hours! We safely shut down the broadcast, our network, and our servers. Three hours later, when power was restored, all of the equipment came back online … EXCEPT … our main server. We immediately started making emergency plans, and we are in the process of restoring GSN as we speak.
We are asking for your prayers in this situation!
We know that spiritual warfare is very real, and also know that the Enemy does not like Genesis Science Network. We’ve received salvation reports from viewers. We get hundreds of testimonials from people who have been impacted.
Our cost is already over $23,000 to get the servers and GSN back up and functional, and we are still waiting on additional hardware to arrive.
Because of our friends, the viewers and supporters of GSN, we are constantly blessed to see the impact that Genesis Science Network is having on a global scale. Our Creator is so good and faithful!
If you feel led to make a special tax-deductible donation toward helping us get GSN back on the air, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you for watching GSN and for your patience as we work through this.
You may never know just how much your continued prayers and support mean to us. We hope to be back up and running very soon!
In Christ,
David Rives
Truly, the heavens declare the Glory of God.
